mercury fixed

Whoops. No attack. My fault. Fixed.

The problem spread to vanadium briefly, too.

I changed the top #! line in all my admin scripts to use /bin/env (so that I could standardize on one python executable.)

Turns out Apache doesn't supply any environment variables to log handlers, and refuses to serve content if the logger doesn't run.

Sorry for the trouble.

Not an attack. problem with logging system. Should be fixed momentarily.

apache outage on mercury

I got an alert that apache is down on mercury.

Load is normal. Apache is running, but not responsive. Investigating.
