hydrogen upgrade tonight at 2am central

The upgrade to the database server has been scheduled for 2AM central tonight. Again, it should only be down a few minutes.

1gb to be added to hydrogen / mysql server

I'm on a RAM spending spree. :) I just ordered another 1GB for hydrogen (also known as db.sabren.com), which will bring it up to 3 as well. Hopefully this will further improve on the nightly-backup front.

titanium upgrade complete

Just following up on the titanium upgrade. It went through last night. They actually added 2 gigs, giving titanium a grand total of three.

The titanium ram upgrade is scheduled for 01/26/2007 at 1AM CST. Which is tonight. Shouldn't be down more than 10 minutes or so.

Titanium was the last holdout at 1GB of ram. I've requested a second Gig, which should speed it up considerably as less memory needs to be swapped to disk during high loads.
