Here is the list of projects I plan to deliver by the end of June 2007.
Features for customers:
- Upgrade MySQL to version 4.1 (I'm doing this tonight.)
- Optimize the backup system to fix nightly slowdowns.
- Install PHP5 as an option for all script and shell accounts
- Make PHP4 available for all accounts (including basic accounts)
- Simplify setup of spam control ("Spam Wizard")
- Allow you to delete anything you can create in the control panel.
- Allow you to reset your password automatically.
- Allow you to manage file ownership (e.g.: reclaim files created by apache)
- Universal WEBDAV access.
- Provide a standard form mailer for everyone to use.
- Show your billing history in the control panel, and allow changing billing options.
- Provide an OpenID server for all customers.
- A marketing project (to be revealed later)
- Improve the signup / account creation system.
- Streamline my accounting process with GnuCash.
If time permits, I will also be working on a ticket system and a better knowledge base to replace the wiki, but most likely these will have to wait until the second half of the year.
