python 2.4 installed
Python 2.4 is installed on all servers. No extra modules yet - they're coming soon though. The older version (2.2) is required by red hat, so if you want to use the new one you need to call it explicitly:
/usr/bin/python2.4

The secure mail certificate for mercury was set to expire today, so it has been replaced. The new one will be good for 2 years.
I also added a page with the certs for all machines:
https://secure.sabren.com/cornerhost/certs.html

I'll be rebooting all machines in about an hour (so around 1am EST 3/3/2005) to install the latest kernel from red hat. hopefully it'll be quick and painless. :)
update: Yep, it was quick and painless. In addition, rackspace replaced the titanium's network cable, which appeared to have been going bad.
Cornerhost has grown so quickly that I'm having a hard time keeping up. I'm thrilled people want to sign up, but I also want to make sure I can deliver the same quality of service that cornerhost is famous for. So, I've decided to stop taking new customers for a while, and focus on improving the control panel and other tools. You can read about the ongoing improvements over at the sei fishbowl.
